I'm making it my business just to post land mark occasions in this journal (hehehe)

I won lunch delivered from Pizza Hut for the people in my office today - woo hoo!

We got two pizzas and chicken wings and garlic bread and potato wedges - and I got a request played!!!  I had to waffle on about work and stuff - no doubt someone will have heard it and will complain but at least we got a nice lunch!

Hello. Did you miss me?? Been a bit busy: out of the country and all that sort of thing.

Wedding went very well. Lovely weather and all and everyone seemed to have a lovely time

Honeymoon in Switzerland was lovely too

Pictures will follow in due course - just waiting for the best man to stump up with his photos then we'll be good to go. Sean's going to pretty it all up with labels and names and stuff, then you can all feast your eyes on the lovely day we had

The dresses are collected...the shopping's all done, now all we have to do is pack (and me get my hair and nails done) and we'll be good to go :)

Obviously I wont be posting for a few weeks (so nothing new there!! ) but will give a full report and possibly even some pictures afterwards.

Well, the countdown is really on now. This time two weeks I will be a married woman !!
All the plans are coming along nicely. We'll be off to Malta next week and enjoying ourselves before we know it

In the main things are quiet at the moment which isnt a bad thing.

Can't think of anything much else to say I will leave it at that.

Well, after some faffing...the upshot is we are getting a 'credit note' to the value we paid for the carpet and we're going to look at replacement carpets on Thursday - need to sort out a date that suits to fit it now!! *sigh*

Seems reasonable - we shouldnt have chosen such a thin carpet in the first place :(

Now all we have to do is make sure the dress biddie comes up trumps and we're all set!

Got an email from the priest in Malta today advising that we can have our wedding rehearsal at 4pm on 7th June :) woo hoo!

Roll on next Friday when we head off on our holidays

Thought I ought to post to keep my hand in!

Dearie me - what's the problem with people doing the job they are paid to do?!? (1) got a text on Tuesday afternoon from the dressmaker to say she needed more time to complete the dresses and could she postpone til Saturday at noon. Wasnt best pleased but went along with it. Then at 9.30 on Saturday got a call from her to say the dresses STILL arent finished and she'd need at least the rest of the day to finish them So I'm now pushed back a full week until Wedesday of this coming week! I tell you this: she'd be making a BIG mistake if she phones trying to rearrange again. Furthermore, I suggested last week that we should come anyway and make sure of hem and sleeve lengths etc and she poo poo'd that suggestion. If the friggin dresses arent perfect and FINISHED on Wednesday I will go bananas!

(2) My mum paid for us to get new carpets as a wedding present. When the carpet was laid there were some little ridges in it (ie it wasnt totally flat) but we figured in a day or so it'd settle down..it didnt; in fact it got worse. So they sent the fitter out again to tighten it up. He tightened it up to it's full potential and it STILL has ridges in it. So we called into the showroom on Thursday to complain and the guy said he'd need to call out to see it - so we made an appointment for 5pm on Friday. Well, yer man didnt show up - phoned again on Saturday at 9.30 (yes, just after the dressmaker called - grr!) and they said they'd call on Monday morning between 9.30 and 10. I'm not that hopeful cos the fitter said he'd call first thing last week and turned up at 1pm . Will be foning at 9am tomorrow to 'remind' them to call!

I've also to go to the hospital with my mum tomorrow avvo. She's been attending a neurologist cos her epilepsy medication hasnt been working properly. She's a bit anxious about travelling abroad so it'd be nice if she got the confidence of a few weeks of no symptoms before she heads off to Malta - prayers and good vibes welcome

(3) Now I have to make mention of Rachie who is disrupting my ranting!! The woman has no empathy for the blog ranters of this world!!

Well, one last rant

(4) This time last week I was leching over the delectable Gary Barlow - this week I'm watching Jeremy Clarkson ont telly - waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! life's so not fair!!

I didnt realise it's been such a long time since i updated this thingime! Opps, I shall slap myself on the wrist :)

It's been a hive of fevered activity here what with going to a lovely fancy hotel at the seaside for a VERY low key hen weekend at the May bank holiday - beauty treatments and all! It was lovely and relaxing and I'm glad I did it :)

Going for my *final* dress fitting on Wednesday and hopefully will be able to take mine and the bridesmaids dresses both away with me then :)

Last night a couple of girlies and I went to see...wait for it....Take......That!!! OMG they were absolutely brilliant!!! Such a great, fast paced show and a few new twists on a few old favourite tunes. They finished off with an encore of "Never Forget" and talked about touring again - of course we'd go and see then again...and again....and again!!

Right, am off now to nurse my hangover
